Saat saya belajar New Code NLP-nya John Grinder di Kuala Lumpur, sekitar awal tahun 2005 lalu, yang kebetulan berbarengan dengan Mas Ronny FR, Pak Tung, Pak Agus Sunaryo yang dikenal sebagai pembawa pertama NLP ke Indonesia (seangkatan Pak Wiwoho) dan beberapa teman lainnya, ada sesi dimana kami melakukan latihan Micro Muscle Movement, menggerakkan diri dengan sangat perlahan, boleh dari sebuah tempat ke tempat lain atau hanya menggerakkan anggota tubuh dengan gerakan tertentu. Bebas saja gerakannya, yang terpenting dilakukan dengan sangat perlahan, dengan sangat lambaaat…
Apa manfaat kegiatan (MMM) ini?
Saat itu saya masih bingung, saya hanya patuh untuk melakukannya saja. Ini adalah model belajar saya karena bahasa Inggris yang amburadul he he… Dengan melakukan, saya yakin akan memahami maksudnya, demikian tekad saya saat belajar New Code NLP tersebut.
Yang saya rasakan setelah melakukan kegiatan MMM tersebut, adanya perubahan dalam diri saya menjadi nyaman, bahkan sangat nyaman. Mengapa? Ya, nggak tauk! Wong, gak ngerti ha ha… Maksudnya saat itu, lho.
Sepulang ke Indonesia, saya terus mengeksplorasi ide MMM ini untuk berbagai kegiatan. Misalnya melatih diri untuk salaman dengan tangan kiri, hanya dengan sekali “program” saja. Menghentikan penggunaan pampers si Bidadari yang saat itu masih bayi berumur 3 tahun, hanya sekali program saja. Sungguh, sangat menghemat waktu. Banyak contoh perubahan yang saya uji coba, baik untuk diri sendiri, maupun untuk orang lain. Intinya adalah…
Dengan Melambat, Perubahan Malah Jadi Cepat
Ya, ternyata dengan bergerak melambat, kita bisa merasakan otot-otot mana saja yang bergerak. Sehingga kita bisa perintahkan untuk sebuah ide tambahan dari gerakan yang biasa kita lakukan. Bukankah ini sederhana sekali dan mudah. Namun, kita tidak pernah menyadari hal ini sebelumnya, termasuk saya pribadi.
Contoh sederhana lainnya, saya selalu menjatuhkan gayung mandi yang masih terisi 1/3 air, saat mau diletakkan di bibir bak mandi, dimana saat itu mata saya masih dalam keadaan terpejam karena baru dibasuh air.
Saat saya sadari kejadian ini, saya langsung rubah programnya dengan perlahan-lahan menggerakkan tangan saya lebih jauh lagi, sekitar 20 cm sehingga posisi gayung akan pas dengan posisi bibir bak mandi, saat saya taruh. Saya lakukan dengan sangat perlahan-lahan. Setelah itu, tidak pernah terjadi lagi. Hanya sekali program saja…
Banyak lagi hal lainnya, seperti saya melatih tangan kiri saya untuk beberapa kegiatan yang selalu dilakukan oleh tangan kanan. Salah satunya meningkatkan kecepatan mengetik.
Gending Jawa
Sejak masih SMA, saya sering ke Jogja. Entah ada kekuatan magis apa, saya sangat suka nonton wayang dan mendengarkan gending Jawa, walau tidak ada satu katapun yang saya pahami he he… Pokoknya, suka dan enak aja… Terasa “adem dan tentrem”.
Ada beberapa hal yang saya lakukan untuk menikmati gending Jawa ini, salah satunya adalah relaksasi. Dengan cara tertentu, bahkan saya merasakan adanya kekuatan magis saat saya melakukan relaksasi dengan gending Jawa. Mungkin saya keliru, namun saya sungguh menikmatinya. Terserah orang mau ngomong apa, yang penting adalah sangat bermanfaat buat saya he he…
Beberapa pengalaman pribadi sendiri, relaksasi magis gending Jawa ini saya gunakan untuk penyembuhan diri. Apa saja. Kadang saya sedang sakit otot tertentu seperti kelelahan, kadang sedang stres, kadang saya kombinasikan dengan teknik-teknik terapi lainnya, kadang hanya untuk luluran. Ehmmm… mantaaap…

Tahap awal: Persiapan Batin
1. Putarlah lagu atau musik gending Jawa, boleh apa saja. Pilihlah yang Anda rasa suka dan enak.
2. Dengarkan dan dengarkan saja beberapa saat.
3. Baik sekali, dilanjutkan dengan pejamkan mata dan lakukan dengan perlahan-lahan.
4. Sekarang, pindahkan dan fokuskan perhatian Anda ke telinga untuk mendengarkan. Sekali lagi, lakukan dengan perlahan-lahan saja.
5. Setelah tahapan mendengarkan membuat Anda lebih enak, lebih nyaman dan nikmat, baru pindahkan perlahan-lahan kenyamanan tersebut ke dada, terus masuk ke dalam dada, tempat hati bersemanyam.
6. Rasakan nafas yang masuk ke dalam dada, melewati hidung secara perlahan-lahan, lalu biarkan bersemayam sejenak di dalam dada, barulah dihembuskan kembali dengan mengucap dalam batin, sebagai ungkapan rasa syukur, ucapan terima kasih pada Gusti Allah yang memberikan nafas ini. Lakukan beberapa kali, sampai terasa tenang dan damai…
Tahap terapan fisik: Bergerak Bebas
Setelah tahapan awal yaitu persiapan batin, sekarang mari kita lanjutkan tahapan berikutnya untuk menikmati relaksasi magis gending Jawa ini, dengan melakukan gerakan secara fisik.
1. Gerakan bagian tubuh yang Anda ingin gerakan, secara perlahan-lahan saja, bahkan sangat perlahan dengan pola yang saja. Misalnya kepala dianggukkan ke atas dan ke bawah dengan sangat lambat, lakukan sebanyak mungkin sampai terasa sangat nikmat. Anda akan merasakan rileksasi yang sangat nikmat dan sangat damai… Sungguh sangat damai.
2. Bila ada bagian tubuh yang dirasa sedang sakit, sedang tidak enak, ada rasa sesak dalam dada, ada otot yang pegal, bagian pundak terasa berat atau bagian tubuh lainnya, cukup pindahkan perhatian Anda ke bagian tubuh tersebut, lalu biarkan bagian tubuh tersebut bergerak-gerak dengan sendirinya. Anda hanya perlu mengendalikannya agar tetap bergerak dengan sangat perlahan mengikuti irama gending. Terus lakukan sampai semua rasa sakit tadi lenyap.
3. Saat bergerak dengan perlahan, baik juga dilakukan sambil berdoa sesuai dengan keyakinan Anda. Berdoa mengucap syukur, sungguh berdampak penyembuhan.
4. Menerima atau melepaskan dengan ikhlas apa yang kita alami saat ini adalah jawaban yang terbaik untuk banyak hal yang kita hadapi dalam kehidupan ini.
5. Terus lakukan dan lakukan sampai terasa terjadi penyembuhan dalam diri Anda. Yakini kekuatan magis gending Jawa untuk penyembuhan diri ini adalah dari Allah yang Maha Akbar.
Tahap terapan batin: Pikiran yang Bergerak
Nah, eksplorasi yang mungkin tidak terpikir selama ini adalah bergerak dalam pikiran. Ini yang saya temukan sendiri. Ini yang saya eksplorasi. Menurut saya, inilah kekuatan yang luar biasa dan mengagumkan dari Gending Jawa yang memiliki kekuatan magis, kemampuan menyembuhkan diri sendiri, kemampuan untuk menyehatkan Jiwa bagi mereka yang menyatu dengannya, menyembah bersujud di hadapan Gusti Allah.
Bila Anda sudah terlatih dengan tahapan awal dan tahapan terapan fisik, maka kapanpun Anda inginkan, Anda hanya perlu masuk ke situasi itu lagi. Sederhana sekali tekniknya, yakni:
1. Ambil jedah waktu khusus untuk berdiam diri.
2. Membersihkan diri sebelum memulai kegiatan ini, sangatlah dianjurkan.
3. Duduk bersila atau tiduran adalah posisi yang enak. Pilih yang Anda rasa paling pas untuk situasi Anda saat itu.
4. Putarlah musik gending Jawa, pilih satu musik dan putar berulang-ulang sampai alam bawah sadar Anda hafal.
5. Dalam hitungan waktu Anda sendiri, dalam pikiran Anda, ingat hanya di pikiran bukan bergerak secara fisik, bayangkan bagian tubuh Anda bergerak dengan sangat perlahan. Rasakan dan nikmati keindahannya…
6. Bergeraklah dan menarilah dalam pikiran. Hanya di pikiran. Ciptakan kedamaian. Bangunkan keindahan. Rasakan ketenangan dalam pikiran Anda.
7. Setelah melakukan latihan ini, tutup dengan rasa bersyukur dan doa.
Demikian beberapa ide pengalaman menikmati gending Jawa ini. Saya yakin, apapun budaya Anda, apapun suku Anda, setelah Anda bisa menikmati rileksasi total ini, Anda akan kerajingan menikmati Gending Jawa.
Mari lestarikan budaya kita, jangan biarkan Malaysia “mencuri” semaunya lagi, walau sebenarnya kita juga ikut andil salah, karena sering kita buang budaya ini ke tong sampah.
Tidak perlu menjadi orang Jawa untuk menikmati Budaya Jawa.
Namun, kita bisa menjadi orang Jawa dengan memahami Budaya Jawa.
Bersyukurlah nenek moyang kita meninggalkan warisan Gending Jawa.
Agar kita sebagai anak cucu bangsa bangga menjadi orang Jawa.
